HISTORIC WORLD CUP FOOTBALLS

We’re a nostalgic lot here at Footy-Boots.com, especially when it comes to football.

In fact, anyone that read our piece on Craig Johnston’s letter to FIFA regarding the Jabulani will have seen that we got a little misty-eyed at the mention of the ‘Fevernova’.

So, on a day when the Jabulani has come in for it’s heaviest (or at least, lengthiest) criticism – and the day after it was slammed into the the back of the net with two stunning long ranged efforts from Van Bronckhurst and Forlan, adidas have offered us this video of their World Cup footballs from yesteryear being shown off in South Africa.

What do you think? Do they bring back any fond memories for you, either watching goals scored with or owning these special footballs?
