Gianfranco Zola is confident that both Robert Green and Lucas Neill will be staying with the London club.
With Scott Parker having already pledged his loyalty to the Hammers, getting England international Green and Aussie defender Neill to follow suit will be a huge plus for the Premier League outfit.
Green has been at Upton Park since signing from Norwich in 2006 whilst Neill arrived in 2007 and was a crucial part of the side that avoided relegation that season. He was linked with a move to Newcastle during the January transfer window, a story that was given short thrift at West Ham.
Speaking about the imminent deals, Zola said:
Robert is due to sign a new deal and we are also speaking to Lucas. I think they are happy to stay.
I think the club has tried to make Lucas happy. He’s done a lot for us this year. We want to extend his deal.
