Kolo Toure’s brother Yaya, has explained that he rejected calls from Arsenal in the summer.
Ivory Coast international Yaya Toure snubbed approaches from Arsenal in the summer, a decision he may regret as he is struggling to figure in the Barcelona first eleven this term.
Yaya under Frank Rijkarrd last season wasa regular making 39 appearnaces but since new coach Pep Guardiola has controlled matters at Barca, Yaya has not been first choice.

Wenger, as well as my brother, told me to join Arsenal during the summer but I answered them that I was happy at Barcelona.
(Of Barcelona) We cannot play with 12. I am very good physically but we must respect the decisions of the coach.
I am a professional and, if I do not play, what I must do is help the team. I will be patient.
Competition is good. We have two players of great quality and this position is key to the best team in the world.
Comment: Wenger has often voiced his annoyance about illegal approaches for his players from Spanish teams, think Barcelona and Henry, think Real Madrdid and Fabregas. Does this notconstitute an illegal approach?
