Another weird and wonderful colourway spot we’ve come across this week is Northern Ireland international Josh McQuiod.
McQuiod normally plys his trade for Bournemouth AFC in the adidas F50 adiZero, but gave a debut to some very unorthodox Mercurial Vapors in last night’s game friendly against Morocco.
The rising star came off the bench in some White/Silver/Black football boots, and it left us here at Footy-Boots.com wondering whether they were a NikeiD Superfly II or a new Superfly II colourway.
After close consideration, we’re leaning towards the NikeiD, though you can’t currently buy a NikeiD Superfly II online at the moment, there’s no reason that McQuiod couldn’t have gone to NikeTown in London to design his pair!
We also reckon we’ve managed to create a pretty good mock-up of these mysterious white Superfly II (Albeit on the Vapor VI) on the NikeiD website to share with you.
We thought we’d post them up anyway as we’ve heard rumours that the next colourway of the Superfly II might be white, and these certainly seemed to fit the bill!
Have you heard any rumours of a white Superfly II? If so – do you think these are it?

yeah mate these are an actual colourway, my local football shop showed me the nike catalogue for next year. It will be released in january.
white boots should be outlawed in winter. they are criminal.
Those are nice.
I have a friends who is sponsored by Nike and he was given a pair of these as well as the recent pink colourway. He said they should be out in the upcoming year.
There is a white colorway coming out but I’m pretty sure the instep design is not grey. Instead it is a light blue and fades into a purple toward the heel of the boot.
My mate has a pair of these. He got them a while ago and i’ve seen a couple of images of these before so I guess they will be released. Very nice colourway mind.
Just been looking through ebay and found these. They must be a colour being released!
I suspect that those are a replica pair… I have seen those on dhgate.com selling for almost $70. They are a Superfly II replica and are basically illegal.
I have those white superflys
what are these?
as i stated in a previous article i saw a kid wearing these colored superflys back in i think it was september or october they were deffinatley superflys
Adidas 7406’s were released in 2006, hence the name. They are not new, in fact they are quite old, to state the obvious.
That’s not josh McQuiod, it’s Josh McGuinness!
