Warrior can count their summer a successful one; after upping their boot ante with the Superheat late last year and releasing updated versions of the Gambler and Skreamer, the brand have upped their momentum heading into the new season.
Underlining that is the latest colourway for the Superheat; the Warrior Superheat – Black / Red.
Responsible for one of the goals of the tournament at the World Cup this summer courtesy of Tim Cahill and already spied in white-out form on the feet of Manchester City’s Alvaro Negredo, the Superheat has emerged as an exciting release in the speed-boot market.
And with good reason; we reviewed the boots earlier this year and found them to be a solid speed-boot release, and one that offers a lightweight option for players with wider feet.
Here, the Warrior Superheat – Black / Red is looking it’s most lethal to date, with a dark colourway fitting the boot’s stealth-like silhouette, whilst the Warrior branding is picked out in Grey and Red.
The choice of colours also helps pick out some of the standout tech featured on the Superheat.
Including the Tri-fusion bonded skin – which Warrior say enhances limitless touch and speed. The extremely lightweight Neoweb, a bonded water resistant upper mesh construction, moulds to the contours of the foot, making the boot feel like a second skin and providing infinite comfort, breathability
The second bonded TPU layer balances efficient support with optimum agility, finished off with Organitouch, a super-thin outer film to enhance sensitivity and touch, aiding close ball control while
Implanted in the heel, a hidden internal Membrane Heel Shield provides unseen support and protection against unforgiving challenges.
A durable sole plate is constructed from a tough compound material, allowing it to withstand adverse weather conditions and varying playing surfaces. The configuration of the Clawtech blades offers optimum traction to dominate on dry and firm surfaces.
The tongue is constructed with a Bonded Tri-Fusion system and an Aerosock inner which combined with the slipstream lacing system, provides the fit and comfort a player would expect.
Available to pre-order from today with an August 1st 2014 retail date, what do you think of the Warrior Superheat – Black / Red?
