WARRIOR SIGN SUNDERLAND’S DANNY GRAHAM

Warrior football have continued their run of signing Premier League players as they have today announced the signing of Sunderland’s Danny Graham.

After spotting the forward playing in a blacked-out pair last month, the signing of Graham will come as no surprise to boot-fans, as when a player is spotted in Warrior boots, they very rarely opt not to sign with them!

A previous wearer of the Umbro Stealth, GT and Speciali ranges, Graham will step into the Skreamer K-Lite as of this weekend – notably the first player to officially wear the Kangaroo-leather version of Warrior’s debut boot, officially.

The striker, who transferred to Sunderland from Swansea City in January this year, began his career aged 17 when he was signed by Middlesbrough.

After a successful four-year stint at Middlesbrough, Graham went on to play for League One side Carlisle, as well as Watford, before signing for Swansea’s maiden Premier League campaign in 2011.

The signing certainly comes at an opportune time for Warrior. The Black Cats main-man Steven Fletcher has been injured as the Sunderland come into the crunch-end of the season.

All eyes will be on Graham, as the Stadium of Light faithful hope that their January signing’s goals will ensure they’re still watching top-flight football next season.

Graham, who earlier this year scored the instrumental goal to secure Swansea City a place in the League Cup final at Wembley, is enthused about the partnership.

“To be positioned, alongside players like Fellaini and Kompany – some of the game’s giants – is very exciting,” said Graham. “Warrior is a brand that is clearly going places in football and I look forward to working with the team moving forward.”
