Warrior Announce Kit AND Boot Deal with Norwegian Team ‘Odd’

Warrior Kit and Boots Partnership ODD

Warrior have announced a new kit deal with' Norwegian football club Odd' Ballklubb. As many of you are Norwegian football aficionados, we’re sure, it’s not normally the sort of news we’d dedicate valuable server space to here on Footy-Boots.com.

However, this deal does have something unusual about it in that Warrior will be supplying Home and Away Shirts, Training Kit, Replica etc. to the' Tippeligaen club – but also the football boots.

Having a team-wide boot and kit supplier was once a rare occurrence – particularly in Germany – but in the days of million-pound kit and boot deals has become all-but extinct. However, Warrior have cannily revived the practice to gain a foothold in the Scandinavian market.

You see, a significant number of the club's' players form part of the Norwegian national team, meaning the partnership is sure to help' Warrior grow the brand in the Norwegian market.

Additionally, Odd was founded in 1885, making them the oldest Norwegian football club still in existence – always something that adds to the prestige of a club.

The club holds a remarkable record in the Norwegian Football Cup, winning it an impressive 12' times; with the latest success coming in 2000 after a 69 year wait.

The archetype of a Warrior player is known for their leadership qualities; a refusal to admit' defeat and a fearless approach to the game. The exact qualities which Ä‚€“rvar-Oddr possessed,' the legendary character from whom the club name derives. Which is pretty freakin’ metal, too.

Richard Wright, General Manager of Warrior Football, added Ĺ›Our partnership with Odd gives' us an opportunity to continue to grow the brand globally in a modern and exciting way. We're' looking forward to working with the club and engaging with the fans.ĹĄ
