After the success of the technically-impressive Skreamer range of Power boots, Warrior are back with their second ever boot release, the Warrior Gambler.
Designed as a lightweight control-category boot, the Gambler is designed to eliminate the element of ‘chance’, by giving players complete control of the game and stacking the odds in their favour.
The Warrior Gambler features Wild Card tech mesh upper for comfort and form
As with the benchmark set by the Skreamer, the Gambler is packed full of innovative technology that goes further than just replicating previous control boots.
Starting with the looks, the Warrior Gambler‘s Wildcard tech mesh upper creates an upper that not only looks like nothing that’s graced a football pitch before, but feels it too, with a distinctive, lightweight construction.
Inside, you’ll find a no-stitch Royal Flush inner enables a seamless fit and all-game comfort, while the Lay-Off offset lacing system amplifies the Gambler Pro’s fit and feel.
The Warrior Gambler features Safe House cage technology around the foot for improved fit and stability.
Around the outside of the boot, you’ll find the Safe House footcage, working like the internal cages you’ll find on speed boots to improve stability and form.
Bolstering that is the Heel Shield heel counter for added protection, complemented by a super-soft sockliner for shock absorption and comfort.
The Warrior Gambler features Ace Plate technology on the instep.
The instep is where things really start to get interesting mind you: a specially crafted Ace Plate on the boot’s instep improves surface contact on the ball, equipping players to deal out killer passes.
The High Roller rotator zone adds to the Gambler Pro’s tactical weaponry, allowing for balls and rules to be bent with deadly accuracy, while the embossed Outsider zone located on the boot’s outer tip ensures quick draw precision.
The Warrior Gambler features the outside zone for improved control around the toes.
Equipped to take control on all playing surfaces, the Gambler Pro is configured in two sole plate options: a Full House hybrid stud and blade outsole for mixed ground acceleration, and a Loaded Deck 17 blade outsole for firm ground comfort.
Thomas Ince will be the first player to wear the Warrior Gambler football boots:
“I chose Warrior because it’s a brand that does things differently and matches my ambition. I like that it’s bold and the people behind it aren’t afraid to take risks,”
“I’ve been testing and playing in Gambler for a couple of months now and love it; the boot is lightweight, comfortable and gives me a feeling of complete control when I’m wearing it.” – Thomas Ince
As we speculated yesterday, England starlet Thomas Ince will headline the range after a stellar season in the Championship with Blackpool. With a slew of Premier League clubs after his services, Ince could be something of a coup for Warrior if he secures a move to the top flight next season.
