But admirers of the former Fulham and Ajax goalie (we like to call them ‘Fan Der Sars’ – ahthankyou) can rejoice, for Edwin is back in this new viral from the three stripes,in which the Dutch legend heads to Amsterdam for a goalkeeping challenge like nothing he’s ever faced before.
On one of Amsterdam’s famous canal barges, Edwin assembles a small goal and Adidas staff encourage members of the public to take shots at him!
As expected, VDS demonstrates the skills that would still see him walk into just about any top club; though the public do manage to surprise the veteran stopper!
It’s not long before things get out of hand and members of the Ajax squad turn up to have a go!
