Inside the Ghana training camp with Puma at Africa Cup of Nations 2013

Despite being one of the pre-tournament favourites, Ghana already face a battle to progress from the group stages in this year’s Africa Cup of Nations.

The Black Stars surrendered a two-goal lead to DR Congo in their opening game of the 2013 tournament, and face a stern test against Mali this afternoon in the early kick-off.

Mali will be brimming with confidence after snatching third place from Ghana in last year’s tournament, and if they’re allowed to take three points away from Ghana in Port Elizabeth, the Black Stars could see progression taken out of their own hands.

But spirits are high in the Ghana camp all the same! As technical partner, Puma are able to take us inside the training sessions of Gyan, Boateng, Mensah, Asamoah & Co. to  see how the players are settling in to the tournament and preparing for the next game.

But even if the team are sent home from the tournament earlier than expected – there’s the makings of a mean barbershop quartet in the ranks of the Ghana squad – Asamoah Gyan, take a bow; what a voice!
