After two months of searching – it’s all come down to this!
The UK entrants to Nike’s ‘The Chance’ competition to win entry to the Nike Academy have gathered earlier today to put their skills to the test in the most high-pressure situation of their young careers.
Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger will be on hand to help the Nike Football coaches run the rule over the most talented crop of ‘unnoticed’ footballers that' the UK has to offer, selected by voting on entrants Facebook pages.
The best of the UK’s talent today will be rewarded with a place at the international trials tomorrow, where they’ll go up against the selected players from other countries, and the eventual winner will be revealed!
Seems to us that Nike have gone all out on this one, kitting contestants out in the newest Mercurial training gear and offering up a choice of Nike football boots to complete the day in.
We’ve noticed some of our Facebook friends entered ‘The Chance’ and we’d love to hear from anyone that made it through!
To keep up to date on the The Chance and see who’s crowned the winner, head over to Nike’s Facebook page for Pics and Videos from the day!
I wish I had a “Chance” like that when I was younger.
I’ve entered this contest (but in Canada). I don’t think they even look at people from Canada so I got over it. it was fun having a fanpage of me though! /AntonioChance if you’d like to go visit haha
