Whilst most high-tech camera wizardry is usually reserved for top-tier, big budget ad campaigns and only ever used on with the biggest stars, adidas have been using their expensive camera gadgets to get up-close and personal with the fans at Euro 2012.
Following on from the super slow-motion shots of fan reactions during Germany v Greece, adidas once again took their toys to the fanzone in Ukraine to capture the joy and atmosphere surrounding the Euro 2012 atmosphere.
As well as rolling out the slo-mo cameras again, adidas was also authorised to use cutting-edge ‘drone’ cameras, operating high above Kiev, resulting in some truly spectacular content.
The video is the culmination of a series of content designed to get under the skin of the tournament focusing on on pitch action, fan experiences, and the culture of Poland and Ukraine, showcased on the new adidas Tumblr account.
