It seems like only yesterday we revealed the classy Wales home shirt for 2011, but Umbro are back again with a renewed look for the Welsh National team – and we’re sure it’s going to be a fan favourite!
As they look forward to the start of their World Cup qualification campaign, Wales have unveiled their new 2012 home kit, tailored by Umbro.
The kit, which will be worn for the first time in their friendly fixture against Bosnia-Herzegovina this evening, is available for pre-order now, so that Welsh football fans around the world can show their support for Chris Coleman’s young squad as they look to kick off their qualification campaign next month.
The new home shirt is crafted from a lightweight, breathable material, in the national colours of Wales: red, rich green and St David’s yellow.
With a smart, traditional-style collar, the shirt also features breathable under-arm panels, and a vibrant striped sash across the shoulder and down the main body of the shirt.
Extra shaping on the back shaping adds extra fit and comfort for both fans and players.
Wales will be looking to kick off a new era for their fresh-looking team, with proven performers at the top level such as Craig Bellamy, combining with the exciting young talents of Aaron Ramsey, Gareth Bale and Joe Allen.
The Wales XI to debut the shirt this evening is:
Brown, Matthews, Williams, Gunter, Taylor, Allen, Ledley, Ramsey, Bellamy, Morison, Bale

very ugly;/
really nice! though i wonder how much yellow and green will the shirt have. it is not that traditional for them to be there, red alone being used mostly.
