For everyone that likes their classic football boots to be just that little bit more classic, Umbro have got you covered with their new Umbro Speciali III – Black / White / Vivid Blue.
Let’s face it – it wouldn’t be a Speciali launch without there being a classic Black colourway available, and Umbro certainly aren’t going to let anyone down as they reveal the Umbro Speciali III – Black / White / Vivid Blue.
Having seen the lively Pearlized White / Black / Nectarine lead colourway already, the more subtle Umbro Speciali III – Black / White / Vivid Blue will likely be the preferred alternative to long-time Speciali wearers.
The black colour really captures the softness of the leather in the forefoot (which is full-grain, by the way), whilst the lightweight microfibre in the mid and forefoot has a nice brushed effect that we think will be hit.
As for the technical side of things, the classic Speciali A-frame remains as an internal reinforcement holding the midfoot in place. The A-frame has been an integral part of the Speciali football boots range since 1992 and continues to evolve to meet modern performance needs.
Current Speciali wearers include:
Andy Carroll, Liverpool and England
Darren Bent, Aston Villa and England
Pepe, Real Madrid and Portugal
Michael Dawson, Tottenham Hotspur and England
Michael Owen, Manchester United
Juan Vargas, Fiorentina and Peru
Wilson Palacios, Stoke City and Honduras
Andoni Iraola, Athletic Bilbao
Eric Dier, Sporting Lisbon
Available from January 20th 2012, the Umbro Speciali III – Black / White / Vivid Blue is designed and styled for the purist – the player who wants to look smart and play smart.
Which of the two colourways do you prefer?
