After giving us all plenty to talk about over the last couple of weeks with the new Velocita, Umbro are rolling out a batch of secondary colourways to sit alongside their unified White / Pink Glo ‘lead’ range.
The pick of the bunch – for us, anyway – is the Umbro Speciali 4 – White / Black / Clematis Blue.
A classy white number, the Umbro Speciali 4 – White / Black / Clematis Blue is, once again, a classic example of what the Umbro Speciali has always been about.
The pure white upper showcases the stunning K-Leather forefoot majestically, whilst black laces and heel trim match up nicely with the branding on the lateral and medial sides of the boot.
Umbro have also brought in a fresh Clematis Blue trim to liven things up a little, adding pop to the heel trim in and instep, whilst sharp-eyed fans of the boot will appreciate the minimalistic use on the studs and soleplate branding.
For anyone wondering what the Umbro Speciali 4 can bring to the game in an age of crazy innovation – well there’s a great deal of thought packed in to this heritage-inspired package.
Whilst the forefoot is top-shelf K-Leather for feel and touch, as we’ve already mentioned, the rear quarter of the boot is Kangatouch synthetic, making these the lightest Speciali Umbro have ever produced.
The forefoot vamp is also quilt-stitched to reduce break-in time and eliminate over-stretching, ensuring that you’ll be comfortable after a minute’s warm-up and they’ll serve you for seasons to come.
Umbro have fitted the soleplate on the Speciali 4 with a lateral reenforcement area that supports the anatomical shape of the foot, whilst bladed heel studs add further stability.
