Umbro kicked off the year in a big way with the announcement of a new, long-term kit supplier deal with Everton FC, and over the next couple of days you can look forward to a whole host of new football boots get updated, too.
Kicking those off is the new White / Black Umbro Speciali 4 that revives the popular launch colourway, but strips off the silver detailing on the heel leaving a delightfully monochrome foot.
Truly epitomising what the Speciali is all about, this White and Black colour-up is an absolute treat for anyone looking for that old-school style for their next football boots.
A combination of tried-and-true heritage design with all the modern trappings, Umbro’s Speciali 4 is a great all-rounder for any position as we noted in our review.
The boot is delightfully shaped thanks to the A-Frame in the midfoot, whilst the quilted forefoot offers just the right amount of stretch.
The forefoot is lux K-Leather for a premium feel where foot-meets-ball and the heel is synthetic to lower the weight point and reduce water uptake.
The soleplate and chassis are also pure class, with the FG model in particular great for firm-to-hard ground thanks to classic conical studs.
You can grab a pair from most retailers from this week, and look out for Joe Hart and Andy Carroll wearing them from today.
