It’s the celebration fans love to see; when a player scores an important goal, or a goalkeeper saves a penalty, kissing the badge is the ultimate sign of loyalty and love for your team.
And if you follow @Umbro on Twitter, you’ll have noticed that since the start of Euro 2012, the Cheadle-baded brand have been asking everyone to celebrate with England and kiss the badge on their England shirts.
Heading into the Quarter-Final crunch match with Italy, Umbro want to ramp things up, getting as many people as possible to get behind the National team in Poland & Ukraine – by posting a photo of themselves planting one on the Three Lions.
As well as doing it for pride, luck, and love of your team, Umbro are incentivising their campaign by giving away shirts signed by the current England squad and Paul Gascoigne, who’s currently fronting Umbro’s ‘Faces of England campaign.
Additionally, Umbro are also posting all the entries on their new Pintrest page, too – giving you a tiny piece of internet fame for your trouble.
How do you get involved? Well, that’s the easy bit – just hit up @Umbro on Twitter and post your picture up with the Hashtag #KissTheBadge, and as well as affirming your support for England, you could also win some sign gear.
We’ll be keeping an eye out for any of the Footy-Boots.com regulars posting up, and getting involved ourselves, too!
