UMBRO GT II PRO – HANDS-ON & REVIEW VIDEO

The world of lightweight ‘speed’ football boots is certainly a crowded one; as well as the big players like Nike, adidas and Puma, brands like Lotto and Mizuno have also recently emerged on the scene with some seriously hot product.

Following on from the original GT Pro, the Umbro are hoping that their lightest boot range ever has got what it takes to compete as the GT II Pro begins to filter onto pitches across the world.

We recently had a pair of the Blue Radiance / Orange Popsicle launch colourway sent to the office, and we couldn’t wait to get our feet into them!

But before we went an muddied them up in the name of testing, we snagged a few minutes of video showing off how the Umbro GT II Pro look and feel straight out of the box.

As you’ll be able to tell by the way the synthetic upper moves and flexes, theĀ Umbro GT II Pro are surprisingly soft and supple for a boot in the normally rigid ‘speed’ category.

As usual, we’ll let the video do most of the talking – and we’ll have a full review of theĀ Umbro GT II Pro online next week.

If there’s anything in particular you’d like us to take a look at, let us know in the comments!
