Just because the Geometra is now the senior statesman of the Umbro football boots line-up, doesn’t mean mean the double-diamond have run out of great colourways for it – as they clearly demonstrate on the Umbro Geometra Pro – White / Blue.
Officially designated a White / Brilliant Blue / True Blue (What happened to the red?) the Umbro Geometra Pro – White / Blue will be the colourway that kicks off the 2012-13 European season for Umbro.
Set to star on the feet of Joe Hart, Diego Capel and Jonas Gutierrez, the Umbro Geometra has no shortage of top-level fans.
And why wouldn’t it? The ‘control’-focused cleat is definitely one of the strongest boots in Umbro’s stable, as we found out in our exclusive in-house review.
Fitting a little bit on the long side, the Umbro Geometra is very much reminiscent in fit of older Predator boots like the PowerSwerve. But where adidas’ flagship cleats focused on power, the Geometra is all about bringing the ball under your spell quickly and super-accurate distribution.
Using a Premium K-Leather upper, the Geometra doesn’t compromise on feel for the ball, and adds a textured forefoot area for added friction; improving control in wet conditions.
An instep pass-pad is backed by memory foam for s flush fit, giving an even platform to distribute the ball from, whilst a soleplate inspired by squash shoes gives players a solid platform to twist and turn from.
Available from this week, the Umbro Geometra Pro – White / Blue will set you back £124.99 in the UK or $170.00 in the US.
What do you think of the new Geometra Pro?

looks nice, somewhat british hehe
Great boot, beats the adipures I’ve been using, awesome control and can drive long balls on a sixpence without overly floating them. Not too shabby for shooting either, having scored 5 in 12 games and I play centreback/sweeper.
