Thierry Henry has only 50-50 chance of being fit to play this Wednesday
It seems we are going to have to wait a little longer to see Thierry Henry step out in his Reebok Pro Rage football boots, as his foot injury looks to be more serious than originally thought. Thierry Henry has been wearing the modified black football boots since January, yet since then fortune has been against him and his chances of playing this week in the Champions League are rated at “50-50” at best. Henry is suffering from inflammation to the ligaments of his foot and bruising. It seems to us that the Reebok football boot needs further work – maybe Reebok need to sit down and “modify” the football boot so it works harder to protect and enhance the player rather than focusing on how it looks and how many it sells?
Arsenal returned to winning ways at the weekend after a run of three straight defeats, including the Carling Cup loss to Chelsea, and look ahead to the crucial return tie against PSV Eindhoven on Wednesday.
Another Arsenal player having problems with his football boots this weekend was Cesc Fabregas wearing the Nike Air Legend. Facing an open goal he managed to strike the ball right-footed against his own left foot and then fell to the ground in disbelief! He rounded off an otherwise excellent performance by flicking the ball into his own net for an own goal with three minutes to go. Some work to do for Nike and Reebok then!
