Many of you will remember the Puma HardChorus.
As Valentine’s Day fell on a Sunday this year, the bods at Puma were kind enough to gather together a load of stereotypical football geezers – and had them sing an a Capella version of Savage Garden’s ‘Truly, Madly, Deeply‘.
The idea being that you could dedicate the video to ‘your other true love’ to let them know you were thinking of them while you were at the footy!
The good news is: the HardChorus is back!
The better news is: There’s more of them!
Puma have decided to turn this round of HardChorus videos into their own European song contest.
If you head on over to www.youtube.com/puma, you’ll get an introduction from the King of European Song contests himself – Sir Terry Wogan, who will talk you through the contest and how to vote.
Then you can watch the video entries from all four countries and vote for the best one!
Personally, I’m a fan of the Italian entry – who just stand in silent protest, maintaining the country˘ refusal to participate in song contests that started after what they deemed an unfair song contest loss in 1997 (apparently!).
