Nike’s 2012 edition of ‘The Chance’ is in full swing now, with top coaches like Pep Guardiola and international legends Rio Ferdinand and Giovanni van Bronkhorst all making their ‘First Finds’ to send through to the National finals.

Another top Coach on the prowl for today’s best young talent is French national team manager Laurent Blanc, who also made his first find in Paris last week.

As someone who spent their playing days at the likes of Napoli, Inter Milan Barcelona and Manchester United, Blanc is a man who knows the footballing system better than most, and gives plenty of insight in this video interview on location at his ‘The Chance’ scouting mission.

Additionally, the World Cup winner talks about what qualities he looks for when scouting out players for The Chance – underlining a love of football as his number one factor, with good control and team spirit close behind.
