Carlos Tevez has officially moved from the red of Manchester United to the blue of Manchester City.

Former Manchester United boys Tevez and Ronaldo.

Carlos Tevez has officially completed his move to Manchester City on a five-year contract, having passed his medical at Eastlands.

The deal has been ratified by the Premier League and the FA, meaning City have bought Tevez’s registration from Kia Joorabchian and the investment companies that own the player’s “economic rights”, unlike at United, who had him on a two-year loan. A fee in the region of £25 million thought to have been paid for the Argentinian.

Tevez is expected to join his Manchester City team mates on their preseason tour of South Africa over the next week, along with Gareth Barry and Roque Santa Cruz and who would rule out adding Adebayor and John Terry?
