Shaun Wright-Phillips, drilled home a second in the 83rd minute, after a pass from Ricardo Carvalho. This was the first competitive goal Wright-Phillips has scored for the club in 52 appearances, 35 as a substitute, since moving from Manchester City for £21 million.
