One of two of adidas’ silos that are not just getting a bright new colourway for the Samba Pack, the adiPure 11pro is getting a total rehaul with this ‘Blast Purple’ colourway!
Whilst arguably the adidas adiPure 11pro II, as is adidas’ current naming conventions this revamped model will continue to be known just as the adiPure 11pro.
And whilst the name might not be any different, the boot itself gets a much-needed do-over in the design department.
We always got the impression that the adidas adiPure 11pro was a boot a lot of people wanted to like; classic looks, clean athletic construction and some nifty colourways made for a solid entry into the adiPure series.
That said, the choice of leather and underwhelming performance in the fit department – teamed with high-profile players like Xabi Alonso and Bastian Schweinsteiger opting for other boots put the adiPure under a bit of a shadow.
However – as is appropriate for dispelling dark clouds – this bright design aims to bring some of the fun and performance back to the range.
First of all – yes – it’s Taurus leather. Whilst not the K-Leather many miss from adiPures gone by, adidas have refined the Taurus leather from it’s time on the adiPower et al. to create a material that is ultra soft and ultra light.
Having held a pair, we can confirm they do feel exceptional in the forefoot and midfoot, and the boot definitely benefits from a quilted vamp to create a more lux, cushioned feel.
Speaking of cushioning, adidas have added memory foam into the forefoot area. Living underneath the quilted fit panels, adding memory foam to the construction allows a bespoke fit for each player, with the boot wrapping and moulding to the shape of your foot.
You’ll also notice a more traditional centred lacing system and an all new soleplate.
Designed with comfort in mind, the adidas adiPure 11pro uses more studs than the other Sprintframe boots, allowing for more distributed pressure.
It should also be noted that – as far as we know – this new frame has no miCoach cavity. Meaning use of a Speed_Cell would be limited to being attached to the laces of the boot, should you desire your stats.
Set to be worn by Philipp Lahm, Hernanes and Frank Lampard,' the Samba Pack adidas adiPure 11pro is onfield from November 9th onwards, with the boots available to purchase from 14th November from the Footy-Boots.com store.

amazing id never thought id like purple so much
How is the ball feel? Is it good for shooting? Do you get a lot of power while taking shot?
great ! I love Adipure since its 1st generation..
Will they be released in studs as well as moulds?
asked the same question myself, i was dying for a pair of these for the start of the season but they only had FG seemingly everywhere. If you’re still looking, I found some in SG at http://www.mandmdirect.com/01/details/AD10385/adidas-Mens-11-Pro-XTRX-SG-Football-Boots-Purple-White-Berry and theyre going for £60.
They are a dream to wear, no breaking in and give a great touch yet still feel solid enough for defensive players. Only had them for one game so far, and set up 2 goals playing at right side of 3 CBs in them and almost scored as well – theyre definitely my lucky boots now!
