Two first half braces from Cristiano Ronaldo and Argentine striker Gonzalo Higuain helped Real Madrid to a 4-2 derby win over Getafe, pushing them back to the top of Primera Liga.

Three minutes later and the Argentine put Madrid 3-0 up. Ronaldo put the game to bed with his second on 37, although Getafe saved face by getting on the score-sheet twice themselves.
The result was Real’s 10th consecutive Primera Liga victory and puts them top of the league, ahead of Barca on goal difference.
