Ten years ago, Ronaldinho’s crossbar challenge video created history as it became the first video to reach 1 million views on YouTube.

Now, to promote the launch of the Tiempo Legend Touch of Gold, the video has been remastered for your viewing pleasure.

The clip which had viewers scratching their heads as to whether it was real or fake, is still one of the most famous viral football videos ever, and to celebrate its 10th anniversary Nike have remastered the video.

Setting the Scene

Ronaldinho receives delivery in a gold case of his new Tiempo Air Legend football boot. Having laced up, he takes the football to the edge of the box and hits the crossbar over and over without the ball touching the ground. It looks real, and if anyone could do it, it would have been Ronaldinho.

The video was such a hit in its day that many people tried to emulate the crossbar challenge.

In our opinion only one man managed to get close, Biro Biro, the former Corinthians player.
