Fulham are now back in the race to miss out on relegation and maintain Premier League status.

With their first away win in 33 matches Fulham have given themselves a chance to maintain their Premier League football.

McBride opened up for The Cottagers on 22 minutes. Simon Davies received the ball out wide from David Healy and put across a fine cross for McBride to slide in and meet first time at the backpost.

With a quarter of the game to go, Fulham hit the crossbar when Jamie Bullard struck a 20-yard free-kick that went over the wall only to hit the woodwork.

But the game was over when Nevland broke free and fired in the bottom left-hand corner, from just outside the area, to claim Fulham’s second goal and an important 3 points for The Cottagers.
