QUARTER FINAL SIGNALS SPONSOR SHOWDOWN

The World Cup always throws up the tastiest ties, there’s no secret behind that – but the quarter-final match ups represent an extraordinary turn of luck for the biggest football brands in the world!

The Last-Eight ties have come through as Ghana vs Uruguay, Brazil vs Holland, Argentina vs Germany and Paraguay vs Spain – or as we like to see it – Puma vs. Puma – Nike vs Nike and a double-dose of Adidas vs Adidas !

So, what this means in the longer term is that each brand will be present in the semi-finals too – with adidas the biggest winners as they are guaranteed at least one team in the World Cup final in their kits!

But will it be a Nike or Puma kit that the mighty Paraguay face in the final? Let us know with a comment below!

“Adidas are guaranteed atleast one team in the world cup final”. Not atleast, there can only be one adidas team in the final.

I’ve had Holland vs Argentina from the beginning… not saying this cos Holland beat Brazil last night but I predicted that semi-final match up before 11th June, and even the scoreline of 2-1… dont ask me about the rest of my predictions! I had France in the semis, losing to Holland! haha…

zizou wannabe, I believe your story more now that I read it long after Argentina were thrashed by Germany. Who I for some reason picked to win it all before the tournament. As I watch I still think I will be wrong, they are too young to now beat both Spain and the Netherlands v Uruguay winner.

i really see both adidas teams as the strongest so far. Wow! Germany really kicked Argentina´s butt. I think the champion will be on of these two. I think Nike has his ticket to the final with Netherlands.I´d like Uruguay to win the match though. But this WC is all about surprises so we´ll see…
