SOUSA OUSTED BY QPR

sousa sacked by qprPaulo Sousa has been dismissed by Queens Park Rangers after just 26 games in charge.

The Portuguese manager, who won only 7 of the games he oversaw, was sacked with the club claiming that he divulged sensitive information.

His departure was not unexpected as coach Bruno Oliveira was given the boot at the beginning of the week.

It means that with Gareth Ainsworth in charge for the weekend match against Burnley, chairman and co-owner Flavio Briatore has now gone through 4 managers and 2 caretakers in a little over 18 months.

Iain Dowie lasted a mere 15 games while John Gregory and Luigi De Canio also had short term spells in charge of the team.

The removal of Sousa comes after he revealed that leading scorer Dexter Blackstock’s loan move to Nottingham Forest had been agreed without his knowledge.
