To compliment the latest cleats worn by Sergio Aguero and Steven Pienaar, here’s the Puma v1.11SL – Dresden Blue / White / Lime Punch for those who like their football boots to be a little lighter!
Despite receiving barely any on-pitch attention from top pro’s (with only Radamel Falcao occasionally venturing out in the SL model) it has built up a reputation for excellence amongst the boot community.
Building off the foundation set out by the Puma v1.11, theĀ Puma v1.11SL – Dresden Blue / White / Lime Punch offers the durability and many of the features that you’d find in it’s stablemate but with the weight stripped right down to 170g per boot.
A microfibre synthetic provides a flexible, waterproof upper for the Puma v1.11SL – Dresden Blue / White / Lime Punch, whilst the side-offset lacing provides a generous surface area to strike and pass the ball from.
The soleplate uses injected-TPU studs – as you’d find on many of Puma’s football boots – but the UNi heel counter system has been replaced to reduce the weight of the cleat.
Looking as sharp and eye-catching as you’d expect it to, theĀ Puma v1.11SL – Dresden Blue / White / Lime Punch is definitely a front-runner (ha!) for any speedsters out there who want their footwear to catch the eye as much as their pace.
