Puma v1.08 – Super lightweight speed.
The v1.08 football boot is the latest offering from german football boot brand Puma. Unveiled to coincide with the 2008 African Cup of Nations in Ghana, the Puma v1.08 is a new super lightweight and speed football boot designed to get players to the ball even faster.
Puma v.108
Weighing in at 220g, the v1.08 can be classified as a lightweight football boot. The boot’s upper is designed using a thin, lightweight and abrasion resistant Scholler ConTec material helping reduce the overall weight of the boot improving speed attributes, whilst aiding ball control and touch. The upper is reinforced by a thin layer of micro fibre, helping to increase durability without adding extra weight.
The lacing is placed off centre to increase the kicking area and balance pressure distribution, reducing forces from ball impact. The Puma AptoLast is anatomically shaped, following the foot’s natural shape to provide a glove like fit, allowing the upper to mould to the player’s foot. Finally, the upper is glued and stitched.
The carbon fibre internal chassis is the backbone of the v1.08. The carbon fibre sole plate ensures lightness and flexibility, whilst the TPU frame provides stability for the wearer. Embedded in double density injected TPU, the carbon fibre composite of the internal chassis ensures excellent pressure distribution, reduces weight and supports the natural flexpoints of the forefoot.
The outsole is split into two seperate pieces keeping weight down whilst enhancing the fit in the medial foot arch area. The forefront stud configuration ensures smooth ground penetration by providing optimal traction and manoeuvrability, whilst the heel stud configuration features an integrated external heel counter to provide stability to the natural running movement.
The Puma v1.08 is available in both a firm and soft ground option, with the SG v.108 including six conical metal alloy studs designed to improve grip in wet conditions.
The v1.08 will be worn in the Premiership by Nicolas Anelka, David Bentley, Peter Crouch and Freddie Ljungberg

there awesome boots, just make sure you get the right size, but they are definatly worth the money,
you get such control over the ball, yet there so lightweight.
These boots are awsome, they’re so light and its amazing how much ball control you recieve. I strongly recommend these boots, but you have to get a good size with enough toe space
THEY ROCK!!!
Awesome Boots…I must say i have no regrets buying them..extremely comfortable..lightweight..and very durable !!!!
