Following on from their red-hot triple-black limited edition PowerCat’s last month, Puma are back once again with an all-new colourway – the Puma PowerCat 1.12 – Metallic Blue / Black Iris / Orange.
A perfect follow-up to the two PowerCat colourways released since their retail launch in December, the new Puma PowerCat 1.12 – Metallic Blue / Black Iris / Orange offers a fresh new look to the White/Royal and Dark Grey / Lime Punch colourways that have preceded it.
Teaming a metallic blue with a deep burnt orange, there’s a real stand-out quality to the Puma PowerCat 1.12 – Metallic Blue / Black Iris / Orange, it’s fair to say there’s not many colourways out there like this at the moment!
The second generation of Puma’s PowerCat range, the Puma PowerCat 1.12 takes the Power concept of it’s predecessors and teams it with a control aspect that has proved a real winner for other boots like the Nike CTR360 and adidas adiPower.
3D-Power Shooting Technology in the forefoot is now infused with a dual density compound, that allows a soft touch for receiving passes lower down the foot, whilst also being harder on the top of the toes for optimum shot power.
This is also a lighter PowerCat than the 2010 model by some margin, with the Puma PowerCat 1.12 tipping the scales at 294g per boot in a US size 9, thanks to a newly developed microfibre midfoot and heel.
To be worn by Cesc Fabregas, Nigel de Jong, Phil Jones, Michael Carrick and more – these new PowerCats are available to pre-order in the US from today and will be on full retail and on-pitch release by the end of March, priced £129.99 / $179.99 US
