Kings of the football boot x brand collaborations Puma are at it once again, letting four of the hottest streetwear stores in the world use their evoSPEED cleats as a canvas for their own signature styles.
In a pack of boots that will be released throughout June, this strictly-limited offerings will have sneakerheads, boot aficionados and… people who like streetwear champing at the bit for a pair of these stylish studs.
Each run of boots will be available exclusively through each brands store, so distribution is intentionally tight to ensure maximum hype for each boot – something only furthered by the limited numbers and concurrent release dates.
ALIFE’s all-over block-print logos add some contrast to a clean white, red and blue chassis, whilst BAPE’s signature Camo print will have Balotelli wondering whether it’s too late to switch from the evoPOWER.
Paris-based Colette opt for a sky-blue fade with the colours of ‘le tricolore‘ providing a subtle homage to the brand’s roots – and there’s nothing subtle about KITH’s tessellating scale offering with scattered use of the brand’s logos.
Whilst these four designs couldn’t be more different, all of the PUMA evoSPEED share the commonality of each brand’s name or logo called out on the tongue.
Each boot is slated to cost £200 / $250, and the release dates are as follows:
BAPE: June 4
ALIFE: June 7
Colette: June 10
KITH: June 13
What are your thoughts on collaborations like this? The perfect meeting of footy and fashion, or would you rather stick to designs you wouldn’t feel bad playing in?
