Antoine Griezmann is PUMA’s latest player to receive ‘Derby Fever’ football boots. He will lace up in special evoSpeed boots for the Madrid Derby 19.11.16.
Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann is the second of eight players set to be given limited edition, match specific ‘Derby Fever’ boots from Puma. Griezmann is scheduled to wear the boots this weekend as Atletico Madrid host their local rivals Real Madrid at the Vicente Calderón Stadium.
Griezmann follows Santi Cazorla, who was decked out with Derby Fever boots earlier this month for the North London Derby. Cazorla missed the game through injury so his boots were never worn in the derby. Sadly there are doubts that Griezmann will be able to feature in the Madrid derby. The Atletico striker came off during France’s 2-1 win over Sweden with a foot injury, a bone break has been ruled out, but he is receiving treatment.
The new Derby Fever Pack’s from Puma are a collection of graphic boots that the German football brand will be giving to their top players to wear during their own derby.

Griezmann’s football boot features the Atletico colours along with personalised elements that highlight the derby; the words Madrid Derby are printed in red font and a round Derby Fever motif is on the outside of each boot.
The graphics are designed on the Puma evoSpeed with the input of Griezmann and are available in short supply.
