Following on from the evoSPEED 1 C.M limited editions we brought you late last month, Puma are back again with another outstanding colourway in the form of the Puma evoSPEED 1 – Flame Orange / Charcoal / Green.
Whilst we were at first reminded of a can of Lilt when first saw this colourway, these totally tropical cleats have definitely grown on us, with the Charcoal Eormstripe stopping Puma evoSPEED 1 – Flame Orange / Charcoal / Green‘s design from falling into the ‘garish’ category.
After starting out life in the clean-cut, athletic White/Red/Limoges launch colourway, it’s nice to see the evoSPEED 1 hitting it’s stride with a couple of the wilder colourways we’d normally expect from a ‘speed’ release.
Speaking of speed, Puma say the evoSPEED 1 are their fastest ever boots, weighing in at 181g (6.4oz) in the synthetic model and 192g (6.8oz) in the evoSPEED 1K.
As well as slipping under that all-important 200g barrier, Puma have also packed the Puma evoSPEED 1 – Flame Orange / Charcoal / Green full of technical advancements to help you feel faster, too.
Starting with the upper, a premium monolayer microfibre puts practically nothing between your feet and the ball, whilst the new EverFit cage locks your foot in place.
Built off Puma’s award-winning AptoLast system, the Puma evoSPEED 1 mimics the natural shape and flexion of the foot, creating a truly exceptional fit.
The lightweight TPU outsole also boasts a mix of conical and bladed studs for optimal distribution of pressure, for a faster, comfier ride.
Releasing on August 1st 2012 for £140/$190 US and will be worn by Setgio Aguero, Mario Gomez, Radamel Falcao and Yaya Toure.

Disgusting.
i think the green was not necessary. especially considering that it is already present in the cm version.
