After a spot of teasing yesterday, Puma have almost kinda-sorta revealed what they have in store next for their lightweight silo of football boots on the Puma evoSPEED 1.2 – Camo.
Yesterday’s video held the possibility to be heralding either a new colourway or a new evoSPEED altogether (we genuinely didn’t know!) and as it turns out, the Puma evoSPEED 1.2 – Camo' is somewhere in between!
As with the now-famous ‘Razzle Dazzle‘ colourway that introduced us to the evoSPEED 1 this time last year, Puma have come up with a colourway that gives away everything about their new boot, but at the same time keeps all the design details a secret.
Whilst last year’s feature-disguising optical illusion was inspired by naval warships, this time out the Puma evoSPEED 1.2 – Camo' uses a dot pattern similar to the test used for colour blindness.
Best of all, this time the ‘camo’ evoSPEED won’t be limited to the training ground – instead fans of Puma speed football boots can look forward to this unique design being sported by Sergio Aguero and star of the teaser videos Radamel Falcao for the remainder of the season.
And between now and then, we can look forward to the next evolution of the evoSPEED – the Puma evoSPEED 1.2' – all the new innovations and designs that will come along with it.
As per Puma’s teaser vids, we definitely didn’t see that coming! What do you all think of this unique design?
