Christmas Day might well have come an gone, but PUMA have one more present for fans of the evoSPEED as the launch an all new colourway for their signature speed boots; the Puma evoSPEED 1.2 – Blue / Orange.
Taking advantage of the Boxing Day fixtures, Puma are launching this striking version of the evoSPEED, which boasts a metallic blue upper with fading orange graphics and branding.
Having captured Plane Football’s attention with the signing of Mario Balotelli and teased the launch of the new evoPOWER come the New Year, a refresh of the highly-regarded evoSPEED 1.2 is a great way for the German brand to maintain momentum as we head into a World Cup year.
Fixing much of what was less advantageous on the original evoSPEED, the new evoSPEED 1.2 employs a leather-feel new synthetic ‘Speed Cell’ upper with Griptex 3D texture finish for better control in wet weather.
The soleplate now uses entirely conical studs based on feedback from Puma’s athletes, offering great traction and optimum engagement with the ground.
With many of the European leagues on a winter break, Puma will be relying on their numerous Premier League stars to get the Puma evoSPEED 1.2 – Blue / Orange' off to a flying start.
Whilst a great match for Sergio Aguero’s Manchester City kit, Puma’s batch of Arsenal stars- Giroud, Cazorla and Arteta – will be looking to get their title charge back on track in the new colourway.
