Portsmouth FC have had a rough old year so far – but many forget that is started on the wrong foot when current supplier Canterbury went into administation.

No surprises, then, to see the South Coast strugglers making a switch for the start of next season.

As of the kick-off of the 2010/11 season, Pompey will be wearing shirts supplied by Italtian brand Kappa' – best known for their skin-tight templates over the last 15 years for teams like' Roma and Borussia Dortmund, as well as' national squads like Italy and Wales, and occasional forays into football boot design.

In an interesting turn of events, whilst the deal officially starts next year, the' Blues will wear a special one-off Kappa kit for' tomorrow’s FA cup' semi-final clash with Tottenham.'

A great example of Kappa’s current template for Borussia Dortmund
