To mark the return of the Speciali, Umbro have brought together Pepe and his father Anael to tell the incredible story of Pepe’s rise as a footballer, his genuine love for Umbro and the sacrifices Anael made to buy Pepe his first pair of football boots.
It’s a touching story and in a world of media training and scripted answers, where footballers often find it impossible to express emotion, it is refreshing to hear the passion with which Pepe talks.
As an added treat, the video officially reveals the Umbro Speciali Eternal for the very first time.
