You might remember that back at the start of the the year we exclusively revealed the new Pele Sports brand.
And in our chat with Company Director Gunther Siebrecht, he mentioned that the company were aiming to have some of their range available in time for the World Cup in June.
We imagine that you guys, like us, might be a bit a touch skeptical – given that it’s nearly April and we haven’t heard anything.
But, it looks like they’ve been busy working away in these past 2 months as, we’ve heard the first details of the advert for the new Pele Sports football boots.
The virals will be a series of of 13 videos – These films will feature a South African teenager playing against youth football teams, each time selecting the best opponent to join his “dream team”.
Negotiations are taking place for the chosen XI to take on a team in the grand final of the adverts selected by Nelson Mandela, the former president of South Africa.
Pel'© Sports say that the boots in the range will combine “Brazilian spirit” with Swiss engineering to strike “the perfect balance between performance, comfort and design”.
So – if you see any mysterious, seemingly innocuous, videos on Youtube that sound like they might be this ad – keep a very close eye on the footwear, as you may well be the first to catch a glimpse of the Pele Sports football boots!
Are you looking forward to what the Pele Sports brand will bring to the marketplace?
