We love it when players sneak a new football boot into a match…
Goran Pendev in AdiZero.
Why? Well, first of all we’re football boots fans – new boots are our bread and butter!
Second, is there a more ringing endorsement than when a player insists that the new football boots that they’re wearing in training are so good that they have to wear them into one of the biggest games of the season?
We don’t think so!
So imagine our delight when we snuck a peek at Inter Milan’s Goran Pandev sporting some mysterious blacked-out football boots in tonight’s clash with Barcelona!
Being a solid F50i wearer this season, we can only assume that the Inter midfielder was sporting the adidas adiZero.
Set to be the subject of some intense hype over the next 50 days, we can’t wait to see'Â what the adiZero will bring to the table.

The blacked out version looks very smooth.
At last! Now release the boot adidas.
@Aussie Lad: All blacked out boots do 😉

26TH MAY … nice
This is all silly, adidas only do this to get websites like this one talking about the boots and websites only publish it to get more views, about how excited we all are that some player is wearing the laitest boots, big wow, it should be about the football shouldnt it. Its all marketing, they claim its for player feed back but thats impossible how can they change the boots to suit 4or5 professionals when they are marketed at the public, producing black out version just draws the boot spotters to the boots to try and discover the make and model.
from what ive seen so far, i dont know what the fuss is about. they look pretty boring. go mercurials!
adidas are having a daily contest on their facebook page for 50 straight days where you can win signed f50adizeros, every day (according to them it’s supposed to start today, but haven’t seen anything yet).
@dave: no, it’s not silly at all 🙂
every automotive fans would also be excited everytime bmw or aston martin release a new car prototype. every gadget freaks would also get excited for every information about newest version of iphone or blacberry.
it’s just happens that we are football players -who cares about what we wear, so football boots is what we discuss. this is what we search on google, and there’s nothing wrong with that 😉
of course related websites supposed to discuss appropriate issues also. it would be hilarious if “footy-boots” publish news about new movies in cinemas instead of new football boots 😀
cheers, lad…!
I have to say, these boots seem like they fit well to the foot, but I absolutely hate the laces. only the ends of the laces are flexible and the middle is just stiff. It is very hard to tighten your boots because of this. Hopefully it is just because mine are salesman samples though.
@channo, i agree fellow football boot lover!
@dave: I see your point of view about it all being a marketing gimmick by adidas to bring out balck out versions of “new” boots and claiming they are gathering feed back but all they are doing is fueling the public’s interests in seeing unreleased boots. 🙂
“all about the football” too true but i think its important to discuss boots.
😉
@peter: exactly.
why would ferrari test their new F1 machine in public? to build hype for the launching of course.
they could always test it on an closed circuit that are off limit for public and media -but they didn’t.
nothing new there.
@Hassaan: thanks 🙂
yup, that’s what we are: football players who love our boots.
why shouldn’t we love our boots? Valentino Rossi loves his bike 😉
ADIZERO?
brian habana from the stormers super 14 rugby team is wearing blacked out adizero f50s
its cool he is wearing the adizero but what is the goalscorer wearing?!?! nike’s!!! haha jkjk, but seriously who cares if its hype or feedback, i just want adidas to release the boot cuz im searching for a new one!
