Obafemi Martins Football Boots – UEFA Cup Heroes

Obafemi Martins and Robbie Keane put their teams within striking distance of the UEFA Cup Quarter Finals

Obafemi-Martins football bootExplosive Nigerian striker Obafemi Martins fired two goals as Newcastle won 4-2 against AZ Alkmaar last night at St. James’ Park. Martins was in blistering form in his Nike football boots, on a night when the £10 million striker took further steps to prove his worth, and in doing so took his goal tally to 16 for this season. Newcastle raced to a 4-1 lead in the first half, but in the second half their defensive frailties were again exposed as AZ Alkmaar clawed back another vital away goal that gives them hope for the return leg next week.

Over in Portugal, Tottenham striker Robbie Keane earned victory for his team with a powerful display and two goals against Sporting Braga. Tottenham now take a 3-2 lead into the second leg, with 3 vital away goals also in their favour. Robbie Keane was wearing white Nike Air Legends and his first goal was a trademark volley in the 57th minute. Keane followed up by grabbing a crucial late winner in injury time. Tottenham dominated throughout the match but let a two goal lead slip as the plucky Portuguese team fought back to set up an exciting second leg at White Hart Lane.
