Winter has rolled around once again, but with most people moving training indoor or under floodlit artificial pitches, Nike have rolled out a brand new range of Nike5 colourways to heat things up!
Nike5 Bomba Finale – Black / Chrome Yellow
We’ve started to hear rumours that Nike will soon be updating their full Nike5 range after over two years – and when it comes to the Bomba Finale, we say it can’t come soon enough!
Whilst we love the Bomba (seriously, check out the review) for it’s hard-hitting emphasis on powerful striking, great traction and resisting wear and tear (out launch pair are still going strong!) every other colourway seems to be Black / [Insert Bright Colour Here], and we’re chomping at the bit for something a bit new.
Nike Elastico Finale – Bright Crimson'
On the flip-side, if there’s one boot that Nike can’t seem to stop finding new colours for, it has to be the Elastico Finale!
This new Bright Crimson Elastico is eye-searingly bright, but with indoor courts packed full of players who love to stand out, we’re sure Nike are on to a winner!
Nike Lunar Gato – Volt
Another boot from the new Winter 2012 Nike5 range that will help you stand out is this all-Volt incarnation of the Nike5 Lunar Gato!
Rarely do we see a brand release a boot or shoe in just one colour, but when we do they tend to be in fan-pleasing black or white. However, these Volt Nike’s should ensure plenty of visibility – though we may recommend keeping them to the indoor court if you want to keep them this colour!
Nike5 Lunar Gato – Calypso / Black / White
Of course, if you’d like to rock the Gato, but don’t like the idea of an all-Volt shoe, then the Lunar Gato is also available in this ice-cool Calypso colourway.
Teaming the light blue Calypso with black and white definitely gives us an 80’s-esque vibe from this colourway, but the Lunar Gato itself is anything but retro. Packed with forward-thinking technology like running-shoe standard Lunarlon in the insole helps reduce strain on the knees when play on hard surfaces, whilst a natural leather forefoot offers uncompromising ball control.
