Nike kit out Tottenham for the first time, with their brand new home strip for the new season.
After enjoying a hugely successful 2016/17 campaign, Spurs landed a fresh new deal with Nike football, with the outfit supplying a fresh new kit to go with it.
The clean design, wearing the Nike swoosh for the very first time, comes with it an array of Nike performance tech, set to hit the ground running, literally. Representing Nike’s most advanced performance apparel to date, the new Spurs jersey features Aeroswift technology throughout, a lightweight material which boost speed in any game. Coupled with the Aeroswift tech, Nike have added engineered knit zones for an ehanced fit, integrating a range of different textures to minimise instances of the shirt clinging to the body.
Nike have put superior ventilation is at the heart of this design, helping to properly regulate body temperature. They have done this by adding blue ventilation stripes on each side, that expand when the player is in motion. One notable difference with the design it the clubs crest, which for one season only, is sitting inside a neat shield in their traditional club colours.
Nike have added nice little detail to the kit, with the subtle text ‘SPURS’ knitted on the back of the round neck. Navy blue trim surrounds the shirt, with the numbers ‘2017’ and ‘2018’ knitted inside the left and right cuffs, referencing to the season that awaits them at Wembley. The new kit is set to be debuted by the team in their International Champions Cup match again Paris Saint-Germain in Orlando on July 22.
