If there were a a ‘Most Improved’ award for boots in Nike’s stable of boots, the Laser IV would win hands-down. Now, to match their sterling reputation they have an equally-sterling new colourway!
Rejuvenated since their relaunch in September last year, the Nike T90 Laser is fast becoming renowned as on of the finest football boots in not just Nike’s range – but also one of the finest cleats money can buy at the moment.
The new CTR360-esque last ensures a top-notch fit, with an overhauled soleplate and a focus on lightweight maneuverability – the Laser IV is all about catering to the needs of the highly-mobile striker.
A redesigned shotshield offers a huge amount of flexibility, giving a optimum feel for the ball and comfort when running and versatility for a variety of different strikes.
The latest colourway seems to have been made with a number of marquee wearers in mind, not least Wesley Sneijder and Fernando Torres.
Perhaps most intriguingly, however, is that these are the KangaLite version of the Nike T90 Laser IV – as opposed to the synthetic Teijin model.
Normally one to play second fiddle to the (admittedly excellent) ‘regular’ Laser IV, it’s definitely an interesting move by Nike to push the KL model to the fore, at least for one colourway.
Whatever the material they use, there’s no question that these are a seriously stunning pair of football boots!
