Nike Football | 2018 Brazil National Kit

Nike do it again with their stunning new release of Brazil’s National kit for 2018.

The vibrant, clean yellow strip is the perfect match the for the perfect team. Brazil have been wearing the famous yellow strip for almost 65 years, becoming recognised as the most talented national football team in the world and producing some of the finest talent in the game. This year however, the shade of yellow has changed, which Nike making it more vibrant than ever!

This year, the squad will sport a more vibrant Samba Gold than they have in the past 20 years, and it just looks stunning. You might be thinking it looks the exact same as recent years, but it isnt’! Nike have put in their research and sent designers to determine the exact shade needed. The Nike designers took a colour swatch book to the Football Museum in São Paulo and matched the exact yellow with the one use in the Mexico 1970, when football games were first broadcasted to the world in colour.

The Brazil 2018 Away kit shows off two hidden gems that represent two important happenings in the teams history. The big give away is the bold blue, which  is a nod to when the team first wore the colour in their game against Sweden in 1958. The second is the faint winners star pattern across the chest and from of the jersey, representing the first winners star from winning that game against Sweden.
