After a lengthy anticipation period, Nike have finally unveiled the all-new Nike CTR360 II – Black/White/Challenge Red, the latest colourway for their control-focused football boots!
Since being spotted on the feet of Thiago with Brazil and Tevez in the Argentina squad, this Nike CTR360 II – Black/White/Challenge Red colourway has become one of the most hotly anticipated in recent memory!
Taking the classic CTR colours of Red, White and Black and combining them in an all-new manner, there’s no doubt that this colourway is a great stylistic choice for these ‘control’ football boots.
Many Nike CTR360 II fans have long been clamouring for a ‘darker’ edge to their favourite football boots, and the black forefoot certainly gives that impression.
We can’t help but feel that this new colourway is also a great match for the so many classic football kits, clubs with great CTR360-wearing footballers like Arsenal, Manchester United, Barcelona and AC Milan would all be a great fit for these new football boots.
Despite being the newest ‘series’ of football boots in Nike’s stable, the CTR360 II has fast become one of the single most popular cleats with professional players – so having such a crowd pleasing colourway is a serious benefit!
The Nike CTR360 II – Black/White/Challenge Red is set for a July 1st release, with the Elite version pegged to retail at £225 and the Maestri at £135.
Meh…looks too much like a baseball boot. Nike could do better.
