Puma have revealed the brand new Newcastle United Home Shirt 2011/12, which the Magpies will wear as from the start of next season.
Newcastle United Home Shirt 2011/12 Overview
Despite being unveiled only earlier this morning, the new Newcastle United Home Shirt 2011/12 is already dividing opinion across the internet! [hhog_bookmarks]
Some fans seem to like Puma’s modern interpretation of the classic Toon Army black & white stripes, with the classic crew-neck collar a particular favourite among fans who were tired of overly-complicated collars from previous efforts.
Whereas others seem to be unimpressed with the ‘blocky’ look of the new, wide stripes on front of the Newcastle United Home Shirt 2011/12, and the white sleeves being described as ‘Arsenal-esque’!
As neutrals, we’re also a bit divided by the design of the shirt, some in the Footy-Boots.com office like the ‘athletic’ and modern look of the shirt, but others think that only having two white stripes makes the front of the shirt look like it has ‘racing stripes’!

Regardless of what you think of it, the Newcastle United Home Shirt 2011/12 is set to release on Thursday May 19th.
Puma and NUFC have also teamed up to surround the launch of the kit with a number of promotions.
First of all, a version with a gold badge is available exclusively to members of the Newcastle United 12th man club – unavailable to anyone else.
For the general public, anyone who buys the Newcastle United Home Shirt 2011/12 from the club directly and opts for a printed shirt will get a free ticket to a catagory C home match at St. James’ Park, which we think is a great way to sell shirts and fill seats!
