After the unimaginable success of their Write the Future video, Nike are back again with something else for your viewing pleasure.
The video starts off in the not-too-distant future, where a teacher prepares to teach her class about the movement to #EndAIDS.
The history of this fight starts with a speech by Chelsea and Ivory Coast footballer Didier Drogba, revealing that the medicine needed to prevent AIDS costs just 40 cents a day.
The video then takes us through the World’s reaction to this speech – sportsmen and women, celebrities and normal people alike Lace up with Nike (RED) laces, play with the Nike (RED) T90 Ascente Ball and unite in the cause to #EndAIDS.
We’d also like to give Kudos to Nike for sticking with the initiative – it would have been all too easy for Nike to focus on the World Cup and forget about the great work they’ve been doing with Product (Red) , but they’re still going and obviously have some big plans for the partnership!
Here’s what the Official Nike Release says:
Nike today launches short film featuring global football icon Didier Drogba that presents an aspirational glimpse into the future to a world free from the HIV/AIDS pandemic.
This powerful content piece, launching June 20th, calls on people to join the movement to win the fight against HIV/ AIDS and help people remain HIV free or live with the virus.
